Dreamer
Sweet Talker and Myra Collins
Lease Workout on 5 Furlongs
The sun was just rising over the roof of the stable as the bay filly walked onto the dirt track. Sweet was an angel to work with while being tacked up, but as soon as Myra climbed on, the filly was going a hundred miles per hour. The jockey felt the pent up energy starting to gather in the filly, like a match just lit and ready to burst into flame at any moment. Sweet was already used to the gates thanks to the workout done by KC Racing and loaded without a fuss. After a few short seconds, the gates opened and the filly darted out without hesitation. If other horses were running with her, she would have been at the back of the pack, waiting for the final possible moment to pounce on the leaders. Sweet Talker listened to Myra and trusted her completely as the bay filly gave it her all on the track. She was ready to make her debut with Crimson Haven, and the stable was definitely looking forward to her race.

Ghost Stories
Permafrost and Dylan Gray
Grisaille and Mason Sawyer
Raven's Nest and Annabel Waters
Celestial and Myra Collins
The wide assortment of race horses were led onto the turf track. All these horses were only four of the eight new arrivals that were shipped from the unexpectedly closed farms Xenon Racing and Renegade Racing. The horses were jogged around the track, then headed to the gates, where their workout on turf would take place. All the other horses loaded without batting an eye, while Grisaille needed some encouragement. As soon as the gates opened, Permafrost and Dylan took the lead with Celestial quick on the heels of the white Thoroughbred. Grisaille followed with Raven's Nest trailing behind in last place. The horses remained in that order until the final stretch, when Raven and Grizzly started to pull ahead to catch up with Frosty and Celestial. Permafrost started to drag behind and Celestial took his place, seeming to bear down on the poor colt. Permafrost had burned most of his energy trying to fend Celestial off and fell behind the pack. Grizzly started to kick in and was behind Celestial with Raven's Nest in pursuit. After intense battling, it was Celestial who was able to hold onto the lead with Grizzly following close behind her. Raven's Nest crossed third with Permafrost cantering across the line with a clearly resigned look on his face.

Adventure
Vesuvius and Annabel Waters
Realeza and Myra Collins
Legionare and Mason Sawyer
Caterina Sforza and Dylan Gray
It was the second day of workouts for the new horses. Tony was happy with how the stable was growing so fast, with twenty-four racing horses and thirty horses overall, including the breeding band. Vesuvius, the big bay, was a four year old with two starts and a win already. Andrew, the new owner and head trainer of Crimson Haven, was hoping to get him to grade three in year 17 and continue racing him until six. Realeza and Myra warmed up alone, keeping the filly alone, just the way she liked it. Rela, like most of the new additions was a maiden, but since it's still early in the year, they'll have time to catch up to their peers. The gentle giant chestnut colt Legionare completely dominated the track with his 17 hand frame and sweeping stride. Caterina, another chestnut maiden was right behind her stablemate. A few minutes later, the horses were loaded into the gates without a fuss. As soon as the gates opened, Vesuvius took the lead and seemed to know exactly what he wanted to do. Racing definitely was not new to this horse, seeing he had started two times before with a win. Caterina and Realeza took up the stalker position and stayed close to Vee. Legionare brought up the rear and didn't have a hard time keeping up with his large stride. Not much battling took place into the final stretch, where all the horses started to make their last stands. Vesuvius and the two stalker fillies were all neck and neck, with Legionare quickly making up the ground. Intense battling pursued, Vesuvius and Realeza fighting for second place after Legionare had moved up. Caterina was still in the four way battle, just a little behind the stallion and the bay filly. Vesuvius looked as if he had had enough and started to pull away from Realeza, initiating a match with Lego. Caterina Sforza hung out with Rela, where the two fillies let the colts go at it. As the final seconds came down to the wire, Legionare was declared the winner by a nose, Vesuvius second. The fillies tied and seemed to be in a good mood about their results

Harmony
Sophie's Harmony and Myra Collins
The gray filly whinnied a greeting to Myra after the grooms had finished tacking her up. It had been a few days since the new arrival from Nature Valley stepped off the trailer to call Crimson Haven her new home. Andrew had big plans for the filly, wanting to point her towards Horse of The Year races after she gets started in undercards. Harley had a light juvenile season, so the filly was ready to take the track by storm for her three year old season. Myra headed out to the track, where she proceeded to warm up the filly while she was waiting for Andrew to arrive. Soon after a couple minutes had passed, Andrew arrived with a cup of coffee in hand. "You guys ready?" He said, patting the filly after she came to a halt. "Absolutely. I'm happy to guide this girl to a victory on the track." Andrew smiled and nodded his head. "Let's go get her into the gates then." The filly loaded calmly, used to it after seven starts. As soon as the chute swung open, Harley was out, but slowly finding her place. She always seemed like she was waiting for the right time to strike and kept a slow pace, listening to her jockey's commands. As soon as Myra asked for the finish, Harley accelerated immediately, no hesitation limiting her stride as she ate up the ground. They passed under the wire, a smile creeping across the face of Myra and a huge grin on Andrew's face as he looked at the clock. Harley also seemed to dance around as she trotted to cool down, a smug look upon her face.

Constellations
Beyond The Stars and Dylan Gray
The sun was setting and the sky was painted several different colors as the bay mare was led onto the track. The mornings had been so busy at Crimson Haven that the only time for another workout was in the evenings. Dylan loved this new mare from Montgomery so much and was so happy that she was assigned to him. In fact, he put a special request that he be her jockey. Dylan got a leg up from Andrew and asked Star for a canter. The bay mare happily complied, her head bobbing and her demeanor relaxed. The mare was on lease from Montgomery Acres for year 17 and Andrew was hoping to have her racing this week. Beyond The Stars would be pointed towards undercards for the beginning of the year, then hopefully entered into some Horse of The Year races. Dylan directed the mare to the gates, where she stood patiently until they opened. True to her closer nature, she broke slowly and held back, listening to Dylan. They held a moderate pace until Dylan asked for her final burst of speed. The mare responded instantly, her stride lengthening and determined to win against an unknown enemy. The pair crossed the wire, horse and jockey smiling.

Debut
Celestia and Myra Collins
Carpe Noctem and Dylan Gray
Regal and Annabel Waters
It had been a few weeks since the chestnut mare had been welcomed to Crimson Haven. The original plan was just to take Beyond the Stars for the 2017 year, but once Tony saw the mare he knew he had to have her. So, a few days later another trailer from Crimson Haven was sent to Montgomery Acres. The two other horses scheduled to run with Celestia were the two new juveniles Carpe Noctem and Regal. The two bay colts were both homebred and their jockeys were more than ready to see them debut. The dirt track was cool and hazy with morning dew still settled on the grass when the horses finally made their way to the track. The juveniles walked to the gates and loaded like it was part of their daily routine, seeing that the older mare had stepped in calmly. The gates opened, and the horses bounded out. Regal took the lead, being forced to by the closers. The workout was only four furlongs, so Celestia made her move quick, closing the small distance between her and the leading juvenile. The mare passed under the wire, a hair ahead of Night, with Reggie trailing behind. Despite the loss, the colt looked like he enjoyed the run.
